As the cook off wraps up, samples are collected from each competitor for judging by a panel of celebrities. This is followed by a public tasting at approximately 2:30 pm in which people can vote for their favorites for the People’s Choice Award.

CHOWDER COOKOFF Sunday, February 26th
11 am - 3 pm; Hanover Square. the cook-off pits area restaurants and other organizations against each other to see who has the best chowder in Central New York. A panel of celebrities will choose the winning entries, and the winners will receive plaques and cash awards.
